Life on a station can have many ups and downs, and sometimes can feel very isolating. It's a great lifestyle and has so much potential to be a future career for many however, sometimes the tough times are just too tough. It's great to be able to talk to someone outside the work environment although it's hard when they may not understand
Life on a station can have many ups and downs, and sometimes can feel very isolating. It's a great lifestyle and has so much potential to be a future career for many however, sometimes the tough times are just too tough. It's great to be able to talk to someone outside the work environment although it's hard when they may not understand station life.
The idea of The Kelpie Concept is to have experienced support there regardless of the situation. A faithful kelpie is listening ear as well as reliable help, the comfort of support whenever needed. I, Bebe Manns, the creator of The Kelpie Concept, live and work with my team of kelpies which I depend on every day to keep me company as well as help me with my day-to-day life. This is what inspired the name the Kelpie Concept.

With over a decade of experience in stock camps and running stock camps I hope to offer genuine experienced advice whether it be work related
About me: I started working on large cattle stations in 2011 and currently manage a property in NWQ. Over the last 14 years I have gone through many struggles, mental and physical and mostly alone. With over a decade of experience in stock camps and running stock camps I hope to offer genuine experienced advice whether it be work related or personal as well as just a listening ear with no judgement. My goal is to give back to an industry I love so much and to prevent employees feeling isolated and unable to see their purpose in the industry.
